Taste in Music with Carlos Salazar

The B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center is proud to announce the third class in a series -- Taste in Music: Evenings of Simple Food, Wine, and Music. The next cooking demonstration, Holy Guacamole! with local restaurateur Carlos Salazar is scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. and will last until about 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Salazar, who operates Guadalajara restaurant in Indianola, will be demonstrating guacamole, salsa and margaritas. Of course, participants will enjoy the results at the end of class.

Due to the enthusiastic response for this particular class, it will be held in the Gin at the Museum rather than in the kitchen in order to accommodate more participants. Spaces are still open. Please call to get your name on the list.

The Taste in Music series has become the place to be on the last Tuesday of the month for food, music and fun with friends, old and new. Come join the fun!

Next month, Evelyn Roughton of the Crown Restaurant and Taste of Gourmet will teach us how to make a Southern classic -- fried peach pies.

Cost is $15 for each class. When the classes take place in the kitchen, spaces are limited. You may attend one class or several.
