Spring Arts Camp

The B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center is excited to offer its first spring camp: Monday, March 15 - Friday, March 19 for grades fourth through sixth. Taught by local, professional artists, classes will include music, dance and visual arts. Days will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 5 p.m.

Participating students will learn four blues and gospel tunes with accompanying choreography. Visual arts projects might include set and costume design, collage and handmade instruments.

To register for the week, please call or stop by the B.B. King Museum at 400 Second Street, Indianola. Cost for the camp is $125 and is only open to fourth, fifth, and sixth graders. Lunch is included.

A drawing will be held on the first day of camp to award eight lucky students will full scholarships.

A student performance will conclude the week on Saturday, March 20 at 2 p.m. This event will be free and open to the public.
