B.B. KING HOSPITALIZED IN GALVESTON

Music legend B.B. King has been hospitalized in Galveston, Texas, where he was scheduled to perform last night.

King, 81, is in stable condition at John Sealey Hospital with a low grade (100.4) fever, the result of a recent bout with the flu. He is being treated with antibiotics.

Because of his age it was agreed that he would be kept overnight in the hospital but today he’s cracking jokes and eager to get back to work.

Doctors expect to release King tomorrow after which he’ll take a few days rest before returning to work on Tuesday, January 30th in Ft. Worth, Texas.
