B.B. King Museum Presents Taste In Music

(Indianola, MS April 6, 2009) – The B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center is pleased to introduce a new series of events -- Taste in Music: Evenings of Simple Food, Wine, and Music. The first cooking demonstration, breadmaking with local resident Mark Pett, will be Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. Each class will last about an hour and a half.

Guest chefs have been invited to lead cooking classes highlighting simple, healthy fare with a music-of-choice accompaniment. The participating chefs are encouraged to trace their chosen dish back to its roots, adding music and anecdotes to stir the curiosity of guests.

Classes will include gumbo, chocolate tasting and much more. Cost is $15 for each class with a limit of 12 guests per session. You may attend one class or several. Please call to get your name on the list.
