B.B. King Museum Continues Acoustic Guitar Lessons

(Indianola, MS) The B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center is excited to continue Acoustic Blues Guitar Classes on Wednesday nights with Indianola native and accomplished Delta blues artist Jerry Fair. The six-week introductory guitar workshop will fall on Wednesdays at 5:30pm beginning April 15. An intermediate workshop is scheduled to follow at 6:30pm for continuing students.

To register for these six-week courses, please call or stop by the B.B. King Museum at 400 Second Street (the corner of Sunflower and Second), Indianola, MS. Cost for each series is $30 and space is limited to fifteen students. Mr. Fair will provide two guitars for the workshop. It is requested, though not required, that students bring their own instrument to class.

A student performance will conclude the course on Saturday May 23, 2009 at 5:00pm in conjunction with our Open Mic program at Lucille’s, The Museum Gift Shop.
